THE REBELLIOUS WINE CLUB

An unconventional wine club hosted by some of the most exciting female talent from the UK’s wine industry.

Born from a desire to debunk some of the more common wine ‘myths’ and rules, the series of evenings aim to take the stuffiness out of wine tastings; keeping things fun, informative and a little bit mischievous.

For our next tasting Anoushica wants to celebrate the people of colour that are doing groundbreaking things within the wine world. She will be showcasing four fantastic POC made wines from around the world. Expect to learn the marvellous stories behind these producers and to taste a selection of exciting wines.

Anoushica is the founder of Sweet Spice wines, a platform celebrating the incredible people of colour in the wine industry through wine tasting events. 

Anoushica found her passion while working at the Michelin-Starred restaurant, The River Cafe, where wine was such a big part of the culture. It wasn’t until she traveled to Tuscany that she truly got the wine bug. Seeing the vines, tasting from the barrels, and listening to producers talk with such passion about the intricacies of winemaking, inspired her to pursue it seriously.
